I don't think I could have asked for anything more in a wedding planner. I am incredibly indecisive and Jade helped me make decisions, talked me down off ledges, and helped me through some tough times along the road to our wedding. She was always available to answer my quirky questions and was extremely thoughtful, patient, and understanding throughout the planning process. She pointed me in the direction of some great vendors that I was so pleased with and gave me access to her online wedding planning software that was pretty much a life saver. Jade kept me on task by providing me with monthly goals and checked in on my progress during our weekly calls. Oh...and let me not forget to mention...Jade will go to bat for you! No one messes with Jade's brides!!!

All in all, my wedding day was just beautiful! And what started out as a business relationship between a planner and a bride has blossomed into so much more than that. I call her my big sis and I'm so glad I made the decision to work with her.

Best decision ever to hire J. Ladson Weddings! My husband and I were both constantly reassured of our solid decision with every wedding guest that complimented Jade & her team!

I contemplated even getting a wedding planner, but I am so so glad that my reception venue required one. Jade and her team were thankfully on the preferred vendor list. Our beautiful wedding was planned to the smallest detail in 4 months and there's no way that I could have pulled it off without Jade and her amazing team!

Also, on the big wedding day, Jade gave my in-laws a ride to the church from the hotel, because they missed the last shuttle. Hahaha! My husband & I found out about this the next day She's a true professional and just makes everything happen smoothly.

Lastly, we did have an issue with our cake during our reception, that we were totally unaware of all the drama. Jade was fighting for us weeks after our wedding date to make things right. Once again, she closed the deal and our expectations we exceeded!

What's Included in the Wedding Planner Packages:

  • Make certain that You, Your Parents and the Wedding Party are comfortable and have all the attention and service deserved while getting ready for the Big Day.

  • Oversee proper set-up and design of ceremony and reception

  • Accept all personal flowers and distribute and pin all corsages, boutonnieres, wedding personal flowers and flower-girl and ring bearer.

  • Ensure proper placement of the guests' assigned seating place cards, guest books, pens, wedding favors, etc. --per your exact instruction.

  • Make certain guests with special needs of any kind receive care and assistance without making them feel uncomfortable or like the center of attention.

  • Line up and cue the Wedding Party when it's time to walk down the aisle, making sure they all look great, smiling, paced perfectly, no hands in pockets.

  • Assist the DJ / MC in guiding guests through the day and on to the next scheduled events making certain that no on misses these events and there is a steady, comfortable flow with no dead air.

  • Make certain that you do not get left out in the middle of the dance floor for an entire very long first dance.

  • On the other hand, make certain that you are the only two on the dance floor to show off those choreographed dance moves you learned in those dance lessons you took over the past year.

  • Come to the rescue with a warm, damp cloth when your Groom wasn't as nice as he had promised you to be during the cake cutting or vice versa.

  • Know exactly when you need a soft voice to calm you, one other than of your family or close friend.

  • Be the one person to offer you a little laughter when those people nearest and dearest to you (forgive me) are driving you nuts!

What is the difference between wedding coordinator, wedding planner, and wedding designer?

 

Many couples misunderstand the wedding industry roles and responsibility.

 

A wedding planner is a professional who plans the wedding alongside the couple From Yes to the Honeymoon, recommends professional and reputable vendors, coordinates and manages the vendor team, attends vendor meetings with the couple, compiles the budget and timeline and coordinates the entire wedding day.

 

A wedding coordinator is a professional who coordinates the logistics of the wedding day. A coordinator helps to tie all of the pieces together that have already been made by the client and to make sure the day-of goes smoothly. They usually do not help plan the wedding day, but they can be very valuable in problem solving and execution on the wedding day.

 

Wedding designers usually focus on the décor and ambiance of the wedding day. More times than not, these are professionals with a floral or decorating background.

 

Why hire a wedding coordinator?

Weddings occur frequently without the assistance of a professional wedding planner. No worries!  We are here to help.  Once we are in touch with you, we will ask a few questions in order to learn more about your upcoming wedding.  Then, we are happy to meet with you for a complimentary consultation.  At the consultation we will discuss your wedding and your coordination needs, as well as answer any questions you have about Wedding Planning.  After learning more about your needs, we will determine which level of service is the best fit, or we will customize something to meet your needs.

 

Will you be there on my actual wedding day?

Absolutely! If you’ve opted for my full wedding planning and coordination service, I will be there on the day, in the background, to oversee the setup and liaise with the venue and vendors. I will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly and handle anything unexpected that may pop up so you don’t even have to know about it, giving you the freedom to relax and enjoy every single minute of your precious day. With the partial planning service you will work with me directly and be assigned a dedicated planner at the 60 day mark.  Your dedicated planner will take the reigns from there and be with you on your wedding day.

 

Are wedding planners only for the rich and famous?

Absolutely not! A common misconception is that hiring a planner or coordinator can break the bank. The truth is, we often SAVE our clients money by recommending the best vendors and ideas for their specific budgets. Anybody that is looking to have a stress-free event can afford the right planner!

 

What guidelines do you have in place for Covid-19?
